Hi, guys!

I know it’s been a minute! I was contemplating if I still had time for the blog, but it’s been set on my heart to continue posting because you never know how many people you can help!

We’re going to start with an update before we get back to regularly scheduled posts next week.

1. The biggest update: I have a new internship! Remember when I was kind of freaking out over the summer and told myself that if I take things slow then the right position will find me? IT FOUND ME. I’ll be joining NBCU this fall to work with the Weekend TODAY Show as a production intern and I’m so excited! I know it’s going to be an incredible experience and I can’t wait to start!
2. I was promoted to editor-in-chief of my university’s newspaper! After an incredible experience as the news editor last semester, I’m serving as the editor-in-chief for my final semester of college! I’ve already learned so much and am so grateful for the opportunity!
3. I’m a news anchor! As you know, I spent the summer learning more about broadcast with my university’s television station. For the fall semester, I’m serving as a nightly newscast anchor/producer, a global anchor/producer, working behind the scenes during the midday show, and of course, as a reporter!

A lot of stuff going on on top of classes and still serving as the student writer for our university’s blog and alumni magazine, but I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunities the Lord has put on my plate – no matter how full it is, there’s always room for more!
